Invitation letter for
International Delegates
Registration is open to
everyone. International registrations who require an Invitation Letter
from the Organisers to facilitate their visa application to Malaysia
submit a request together with the registration. Full particulars of the
registrant is required before an invitation letter is issued.
Hotels
The Organisers have blocked
rooms at Merang Suria Resort (3
star) and Sutra Beach Resort (3 1/2 star), for all registrants of the Conference. These 2 resorts are
located next to each other and just half an hour drive from the airport.
Van transfers between the 2 resorts are available throughout the
Conference. To facilitate logistics, all registrants are encouraged to
stay in these 2 resorts.
Conference Venue
The Conference Venue is at
BEST WESTERN MERANG SURIA RESORT.
Flights & Reservations
PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO
SECURE THEIR OWN AIR TICKETS. The earlier you book the air tickets, the
cheaper.
Preference is given to
registrants with airtickets/bus tickets. For assistance, please send

Malaysia Airlines and Air
Asia departing Kuala Lumpur has 2 flights a day (mornings & evenings) to
Kuala Terengganu, the capital city of Terengganu. Airfares vary between
RM9.99 to RM240 per way depending on the time of booking; the earlier,
the cheaper the airfare. You may check the airfares at

or www.airasia.com or
www.fireflyz.com . The Organisers
recommend that you book the airfares when it is cheap and changes to
flight schedule is allowed by the airline provided an amendment fee is
paid. Upon confirmation of your flights, the Organisers will provide
airport transfers to the 2 resorts.
Bus transportation
PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO
SECURE THEIR OWN BUS TICKETS.

There are express and stage
bus services to Kuala Terengganu departing from Kuala Lumpur, Johor
Bahru, Kuantan, Kelantan and Penang. The return night express bus fare
is RM60 per

Participation
Due to limited capacity, the
Conference is limited to only 200 participants and acceptance is subject
to early registration and payment. Registrants who submit their
registration forms with confirmed airtickets/bus tickets to Terengganu
will be given preference.

All Payments for International delegates through
credit cards shall be billed by: MATTA. Please note
that your credit card will be billed in Ringgit and we accept both
Master and Visa Card only.

3. Cancellation Policy
All registration fee, hotel accommodation, pre/post conference tours
must be paid in full before reservation can be confirmed.
All cancellation must be made in writing to Asia Pacific Ecotourism
Conference (APECO) Secretariat -

1 room night charge for cancellation
received on or after 21st
September 2007.
2 room night charge for cancellation
received after 5th
October 2007.
No refund whatsoever
for cancellation received on or after
14th October 2007.
No rebate/refund is
entertained for any unutilised portion of the package whether in part or
whole.
In the event of any valid
refunds, surcharges levied by the bank as well as an administrative fee
of RM20 will be deducted from the refund.
